Claremore, Okla. - Midland University softball fell in both games against (RV) William Woods University  on Sunday.

"In the first game we had chances to get a win but we couldn't get the quality at bats we needed to finish business," said Keith Kramme, Midland University softball head coach. "In the second game we scored first but a few missed opportunities found us trailing and eventually taking the game away from us."

The Warriors were defeated, 3-2, in game one. Midland's Jennie Sayker was 2-for-4 with one run and one stolen base. Kourtney Wallick went 2-for-3 at the plate, and Nicole Andrews had one hit and one RBI. Midland's Sarah Greder picked up the game one loss.

In game two Midland University fell, 10-2. Kayla Ritzdorf went 2-for-3 with one run scored and Nicole Andrews finished 1-for-2 at the plate with one double and one RBI. Stephenie Dale, Liz Spooner, and Emily Kmiecik each had a hit in the loss. Emma Aschenbrenner found the game two loss.

The Warriors are 0-4 on the season. They will host York College in Fremont, Neb. on Thursday March 7. First pitch is set for 4:30 p.m.
