Belleville, Ill. – The Midland University lacrosse squad picked up a tough, 13-12, loss to conference opponent Robert Morris University on Sunday.

Alexis Morris and Brianna Quandt led the Warriors with a hat trick each. Brittnee DeVries and Rylee Moore-Ryberg scored two goals apiece, while Sarah Hill and Elise Hubel each added one goal. DeVries and Hill also recorded one assists each.

"We played hard for 60 minutes, we just couldn't finish today," said Christine Hatton, Midland University women's lacrosse head coach. "We learned what we needed to improve and work on today and we are moving forward."

Midland University is 2-1 on the season. The Warriors will host Oklahoma Baptist in their home opener on Saturday, March 9. starting at 11:00 a.m.
