Bio

Originally from Lincoln, Nebraska, Jordyn Reese was hired as an assistant athletic trainer in the Summer of 2022. She came to Midland from Missouri Valley College, where she served as an assistant athletic trainer for women's volleyball, men's wrestling, women's lacrosse, and men’s and women’s tennis. 

At Midland, Jordyn strives to get athletes to feel their best, working with the football, cheer, dance, and women's lacrosse teams while also working with Methodist Fremont Health. 

Before joining Missouri Valley, she served as a graduate assistant in athletic training at Northeastern State University, working with football, women's basketball, and cheer teams (2019-2021).

Jordyn has been a National Athletic Training Association (NATA) member since 2016, earned her board certification in 2019, and has been licensed previously in Missouri and Oklahoma before earning her license for Nebraska in 2022. 

She earned her Bachelor of Science in Athletic Training from the University of Nebraska- Kearney (2019) and a Master of Science in Health and Kinesiology from Northeastern State University (2021) in Tahlequah, Oklahoma.

Outside of working tirelessly for Midland, Jordyn is volunteering with FurEver Homes and loves to scrapbook, puzzle, work out, read, and listen to podcasts. She also likes to spend time with her kitten, Scotty, and two nephews, Carter and Jackson.
