Bio

Matthew Davis started as a graduate assistant for the sports information office here at Midland in the summer of 2024.

Before coming to Midland, He earned a Bachelor's Degree in Journalism with a certificate in sports media from the Carmical Sports Media Institute at the University of Georgia in 2022. During his time at UGA, Matthew wrote for the Red & Black Newspaper and was a part of the UGA Spike Squad for UGA athletic events, which included being on the front row for Georgia's 2021 National Championship victory.

After graduating, he completed an internship in the summer of 2022 as the Sports Information Director for the So-Cal Shepards, a summer league collegiate baseball team in Southern California, before completing a year-long internship at Christian Campus Fellowship, a campus ministry at UGA in which he was involved during his time as a student.

Matthew then made the move to Fremont to join MU as a graduate assistant and to pursue a master's Degree in Sports Administration and Leadership.
