Five Warriors Recognized with GPAC Postseason Honors
SIOUX CITY, Iowa – The 2026 Great Plains Athletic Conference (GPAC) Baseball All-Conference Team was announced following a vote by league coaches. Midland University's Anthony Martinez earned All-GPAC Second Team honors, while four other Warriors received honorable mention recognition.
Anthony Martinez, a senior from Roseville, California, batted .341 during conference play with 16 RBIs, six doubles, and two home runs. He appeared in all 27 league games, primarily at third base. For the season, he hit .312 with 18 RBIs in 41 games.
Honorable mention selections for the Warriors included Adam Muniz Jr., Dax Wandler, Jimmy Martinez, and Owen Glover.
Muniz, a sophomore from Ocala, Florida, batted .317 during GPAC play with 14 RBIs and four home runs.
Wandler, a senior from Brooks, Alberta, posted a .321 batting average in 25 games and led the team with 24 RBIs.
Jimmy Martinez, a junior from Porterville, California, hit .302 with two home runs and 16 RBIs during his first season as a Warrior.
Glover, a junior from Sydney, Australia, drove in 19 runs while batting .306 in his first season at Midland.
