Bio

Cooper Morrison was hired prior to the 2022 season as a graduate assistant and serves as the head coach for the development team for the Warriors. While coaching for Midland, he will acquire his Master of Sports Administration and Leadership.

Before Midland, Morrison earned his Associate of Arts in Business Administration from Reedley College and his Bachelor of Science in Economics from the University of California Davis. He played at Reedley College for two years. Morrison was named a Scholar-Athlete and an All-American in 2017 and 2018 and was the Male Athlete of the year in 2018.

Morrison transferred to the University of California Davis, where he completed his college eligibility. While playing for the Aggies, he was a Pacific Association Rawlings Gold Glove Award Recipient in 2018 and earned All-Big West Conference honors in 2019. He was named a team captain in his senior season.

During the summer of 2020, Morrison played for Fremont Moo. He was a key player on the team that won the Expedition League Championship, winning the league batting title as well. During the summer of 2022, he served as the assistant coach for the Moo.
