eSports Midseason Update
FREMONT, Neb. – Midland University's eSports League of Legends team remains winless this spring as they reach the halfway point of the 2020 Midwest eSports Conference. The Warriors sit at 0-7 after eight rounds of competition.
Midland opened the season in Wichita, Kansas where they dropped their lone match to Illinois College, 2-0. The next weekend they were edged by Wichita State University, 2-1, and lost 2-0 to Robert Morris University in Davenport, Iowa.
Week three's matched pitted the Warriors against Grand View University and Drury University. Midland dropped both contests 2-0 in online play.
This past weekend they were back on the road as they traveled to Springfield, Missouri for another pair of games. The Warriors fell to the University of Missouri and Illinois College by identical 2-0 scores.
There are three weeks left in the season with games taking play online February 25 to March 1 and March 2 to March 8. The final weekend play will be on March 13-14 in Chicago, Illinois.
