Atwater Highlights All-GPAC Outdoor Honors

SIOUX CITY, Iowa – The Great Plains Athletic Conference (GPAC) has announced its honors for the 2025 men's outdoor track and field season. Midland University had 15 athletes earn all-conference recognition based on their performances at last week's GPAC Outdoor Track and Field Championships.

Additionally, Robert Atwater was named the GPAC Male Athlete of the Year after a standout performance in multiple events, including the top field performance in the triple jump.

Atwater, a senior from Detroit, Michigan, won the long jump, triple jump, and high jump while finishing as the runner-up in the pole vault. He scored 38 points for the Warriors, helping them to a best-ever third-place finish.

  • Chris Medlock (Fr. / Grand Island, Neb. / 4x400m Relay)
  • Jameson Painter (Fr. / Springview, Neb. / 200m)
  • Raheem Richards (So. / Kingston, Jamaica / 200m, 400m, 4x400m Relay)
  • Evan Shepard (Sr. / Ashland, Neb. / 110 Hurdles)
  • Koen Steenblok (Fr. / Heinkenszand, Netherlands / 4x800m Relay)
  • Henri Stoeckermann (Sr. / Kayh, Germany / 800m, 1500m, 4x800m Relay)
  • Braden Taylor (Jr. / Fremont, Neb. / 4x800m Relay)
