NAIA Men’s Wrestling Championships Preview

WICHITA, Kan. – The National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) will host the 2026 Men's Wrestling National Championships on March 5-7 in Wichita, Kansas. Midland University is one of 54 schools represented at this year's championships, with Nate McDonald and Zeph Sivels set to compete inside Heartland Credit Union Arena.

McDonald, a junior from North Bend, Nebraska, placed third at the conference championships at 184 pounds, while Sivels, a senior from Omaha, Nebraska, won the conference title at 285 pounds. Both wrestlers earned seeds in their respective preliminary brackets—McDonald is seeded No. 15, and Sivels is the top seed.

The NAIA released the preliminary brackets late last week, which can be found [LINK]. Final brackets and matchups will be confirmed before the competition begins Thursday morning.
