Warriors Open Season at Siouxland Women’s Invite

SIOUX CENTER, Iowa – Midland University opened its 2025-26 season this week at the Siouxland Women's Invite, held at The Ridge Golf Club in Sioux Center, Iowa. The Warriors had two golfers compete individually in the two-day, 36-hole event.

Isabel Brown placed 50th out of 58 golfers, shooting a 101 (+29) on Tuesday and a 103 (+31) on Wednesday for a total score of 204 (+60).

Tessa Nicholson was the other Warrior in the field, finishing with a 218 (+74) after posting identical rounds of 109 (+37).

Emery Custer of Concordia claimed the individual title with a 155 (+11), highlighted by four birdies. Northwestern captured the team championship with a final score of 661 (+85).

Midland will return to action in just under three weeks when it competes in the Nebraska Intercollegiate. The tournament will take place Oct. 6-7 at Fremont Golf Club in Fremont, Nebraska.
