Bio

Coach Heedum was named as the head coach for the women’s program in the spring of 2024. She comes to the Warrior's program with over two decades of coaching experience at all levels of the game. Most recently, Coach Heedum has served as a youth academy director and as a coach with the BVB International Academy in Texas.

Heedum dedicated her life to soccer at an early age. Born in Omaha, but growing up in Ohio, she excelled in her youth as a player. After finishing her prep and club career, she earned a scholarship to Xavier University, where she was a four-year starter and also served as a team captain.

After earning her Bachelor of Science in Health and Physical Education from Xavier, Heedum began her coaching career at the high school level. Working her way through the coaching ranks, she made her way back to Xavier in 2010, serving as an assistant coach with her alma mater for four seasons while also coaching youth soccer. During her youth soccer stint, she was able to win the 2011 Ohio South Coach of the Year award, the 2011 Region 2 Coach of the Year award, and was a finalist for the 2011 US Youth National Coach of the Year. 

Before relocating to Dallas, Heedum was the assistant athletic director and head varsity soccer coach at Mount Notre Dame High School, one of Cincinnati's premier all-girls academies, where she was the Private School Coach of the Year and Greater Girls Catholic League Coach of the Year in 2015 and 16. Coach Heedum has dedicated her career to developing players on and off the field.
