Hernandez Collect All-GPAC Recognition, Two Others Honored
SIOUX CITY, Iowa – The Great Plains Athletic Conference (GPAC) released its Women's Tennis All-Conference honors last week. Midland University had an athlete named to the All-GPAC Singles Team, while two others were named honorable mentions.
Senior Malena Hernandez was named to the All-GPAC Singles Team after earning recognition at No. 4 singles. The Bogota, Colombia native represented the Warriors among the conference's top performers.
Midland also picked up a pair of honorable mention selections in singles play as Ai Katsura (Jr., Mitaka, Japan) and Graziela Dallagnol (Sr., Cacador, Brazil) were both recognized by the conference.
The GPAC Player of the Year honor went to Maria Purizaca of Doane, while Morningside head coach Alex Struck was named the GPAC Coach of the Year. For a complete look at the 2026 GPAC Women's All-Conference honorees, click here.
