Pair of Warriors Earn All-America Honors at NAIA Championships
MARION, Ind. – Midland University capped its season with a strong showing at the 2025 NAIA Women's Track & Field National Championships this week, held at Indiana Wesleyan University in Marion, Indiana. The Warriors placed 31st in the team standings with 8 total points, highlighted by three All-American performances. The University of British Columbia claimed the team title and the NAIA Red Banner.
Kerrigan Myers led the way for Midland with two All-American honors. She began her week with a sixth-place finish in the heptathlon, compiling 4,685 points. Myers posted the top score in the 100-meter hurdles and was second in the 200-meter dash during the multi-event competition.
She followed that up with an eighth-place finish in the 100-meter hurdles preliminaries on Thursday, advancing to Friday's final. In the championship race, she clocked a personal-best time of 13.78 seconds to place sixth and earn her second All-American accolade of the meet.
Also earning All-American recognition for the Warriors was Krista Hardy in the high jump. Hardy cleared 1.69 meters on Friday to finish in seventh place nationally. Two other Midland high jumpers also competed, with Myers finishing 14th at 1.61 meters and Hannah Newton placing 21st, also at 1.61 meters.
Midland's performances capped another strong campaign for the women's program, which featured multiple national qualifiers and individual accolades throughout the outdoor season.
